GOYA FOODS DONATES OVER 1500 MEALS & TWO 40 FOOT TRUCK LOADS OF PRODUCTS TO VICTIMS OF HURRICANE SANDY IN NEW JERSEY
Goya Will Donate A Total of Over 200,000 Pounds of Food in New York & New Jersey
Goya Foods, America’s largest Hispanic-owned food company, will donate over 1,500 prepared meals and two 40 foot truck loads of products to victims of Hurricane Sandy in New Jersey tonight, Thursday, November 1st and Friday, November 2nd. Goya will organize three soup kitchens with 500 prepared meals in each of the locations including Jersey City, Bayonne and Hoboken. The product donation to the Jersey City location only will include rice, beans, canned meat, hydro-water, coconut water, malta and nectars. Goya is in the process of setting up additional donations and soup kitchens in New York and other areas of New Jersey that will total over 200,000 pounds of food.
